Who we are

This website is operated by Anthony Armendarez for NLMUSD Board of Education 2026 (FPPC ID #1492336), the campaign committee supporting Anthony Armendarez for the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District Governing Board, Trustee Area No. 4. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “the campaign” mean that committee.

Information we collect

When you sign up on this website we collect the information you enter: your first and last name, email address, and, if you choose to give it, your mobile phone number. We also record which text messaging options you agreed to, the wording you agreed to, the page you signed up on, and the date and time.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running.

How we use it

  • To send you campaign news and updates by email.
  • To send you text messages, only if you agreed to receive them, and only of the type you agreed to.
  • To respond to questions you send us.
  • To keep records of your consent and your opt-out choices.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

Text messaging

Text messaging is optional. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of any purchase or contribution. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text messaging opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the campaign, such as our website host, our contact management system and our messaging provider, and only so they can provide those services to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from email using the link in any email.
  • Stop text messages by replying STOP.
  • Ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing armendarez4nlmusd@gmail.com. We may keep a record of your opt-out so we do not contact you again.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as the campaign committee operates, or longer where the law requires records to be kept.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
